Your mother lives inside your laughter..

Your Mother is always with you. She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street, she’s the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well, she’s your breath in the air on a cold winter’s day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She’s the place you came from, your first home, and she’s the map you follow with every step you take. She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you . Not time, not space.. not even death.

  1. I have to say that a few things on this may not hold true for me. My father was my first enemy and I see the same pattern holds true for my own daughter. She gets mad much easier at my husband than she does at me, even though she is only 4 years old. But as far as the rest with my own mother and the relationship between me and my daughter now, I can see it being true. I do not believe though that a mother is a child's first enemy, I believe that it is a father, because it is easier for a child to be angry at the father rather than the mother because the father tends to be more discipline, where mother tends to be more caregiver at a very young age. For toddlers and preschoolers, it is mothers are caregivers and fathers are more disciplinarians, in my opinion anyways. But I definitely agree with everything else, thank you for sharing this. It definitely made me think.
